About Me

My name is Wilno and I like to do a lot of things. During the summer months we canoe and camp and ramble around as much as time permits. Closer to home, I knit and sew and garden and take photographs. My obsession  is the family genealogy. I'm also known as a "treehugger" and that's okay too.  It seems hardly a day goes by that someone isn't needing some kind of advice, recipe, whatever.I like to help people resolve their problems if it is within my power or knowledge base to do so.  I enjoy my days out here in the countryside, making do and walking softly onTurtle Island. I have a large family and lots of grands. One of my goals with this blog is to pass on my simple ideas (personally tested)  to keep everyone healthy.
